Ni'ihau shell leis are meant to be proudly worn but overtime damage can occur and popular styles change. As a service to the community we are now happy to offer restringing & restoration services for most Ni'ihau shell jewelry! With over a decade of practice in many of the traditional and modern tying styles we can work on all but the most complicated pieces. 

By holding a large inventory of both newly collected and vintage shells from Kaua'i, Oahu and Ni'ihau we can color match any missing shells. We can also lengthen or shorten a piece, add solid gold or silver clasps including cowry hook and eye clasps as well as safety chains.
